TransRockies Gravel Royale Categories

Important note: all categories must have a minimum of 5 entries on May 1, 2024 or they will be combined with another category. A category with more than 5 entries may still be combined with another category with less than 5 entries. All categories are subject to having another category of 5 or less riders of adjacent ages combined with it.

Age category is based on the age you'll be on the first day of the event. Minimum age for all events is 15 years old.

Note: You can choose either distance each stage, but to be officially ranked in the stage and GC race results you must ride each stage in your registered category.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds issued by Transrockies Inc if you cancel your 2024 Gravel Royale entry.

All cancellations or transfers made before May 1, 2024 are subject to a $250 admin fee with the remaining balance available as a credit towards the 2025 event. All cancellations or transfers made on or after May 1, 2024 are subject to a $500 admin fee with the remaining balance available as a credit towards the 2025 event.

You may sell your registration to another participant for the Gravel Royale 2024 event, or use your remaining credit towards the Gravel Royale 2025 event. No deferral or credit will be applied for any cancellation received less than 72 hours prior to the start date of the event.

Additional registration protection can be purchased through FanShield, which is a refund protection insurance for attendees. For a small premium, if you are unable to attend due to any of FanShield’s covered reasons, you have the option to file a refund request through them. TransRockies Inc. reserves the right to cancel any TransRockies Race Series event, cancel race stages or change the route on short notice due to fire bans/fire closures, air quality, weather conditions, wildlife or safety concerns, pandemic, unforeseen construction, Acts of God or other such reasons with no reimbursement to the participant.

In the case of event cancellation by TransRockies Inc, no refunds will be available. All entries will be transferred to the next available date that the event is able to operate.
